Am I Still Going to Be the Baby of the Family?!

Welcome to RubyFest

My Mom & Dad Are Already Scared!

I'm barely two years old now - I hit that milestone a few more months ago - and my parents are already worried about what I'm going to be like. After all, I've recently decided that I am actually the head of this household, and I decided to put them on notice. After all, with a teenager and a baby on the way, it's important to start staking out territory. Wish them luck!

If I Were Old Enough to Surf the Internet...

I may not be old enough to surf the internet just yet – and my motor skills could use a little work – but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t web sites that tickle my fancy:

  •  Baby Gap - My Dad might hate this store, but I love it!
  •  Carter's - Some of my first clothes were purchased at a store in California
  •  Old Navy - The whole family can shop at the same store!

Teaching an Old Baby Some New Tricks

Nearly two years old, and it looks like we’re finally getting somewhere! The days of rolling over and crawling are distant memories, as I now run and dance all over the place! I have now begun to test out a whole new bag of tricks:

  •  Running in circles... This only lasts until I get dizzy, at which point I fall down (and sometimes cry)
  •  Going down my slide... Mini-TraTor has one, and now I do, too!
  •  Using Mommy as a jungle gym... Mommy doesn't seem to enjoy this as much as I do

Becoming The "Apple" Of My Mother's Eye

Eschewing the names traditionally heaped upon the children of celebrities, Mom & Dad decided to go a more conventional route with their youngest daughter. As such, on May 16, 2004 at 5:02 PM, they welcomed me, Ruby Elizabeth DiPasquale, into the world. Weighing 8 lb 6 oz and measuring 21” in length, I came out crying, but, a short while later, I was as mellow as could be. Now that I have a better idea of this world, I may have to make my presence felt!
