Andrea and Beth met in Richmond, VA many moons ago – and share countless memories - coffee talk, road-trips, Rickie Lee Jones, vacationing in Doug’s luxury (!) cabin, student teaching, haircuts-a-la-Charlie… Known for her loud laugh, bright blue eyes and quick wit, Andrea lights up any room she enters - you’ll see this for yourself on October 25th, 2003! Andrea currently lives in North Carolina with her family - husband Dave and their two-year old son Liam.

Mary Taft-Lowery

It is no accident that Beth followed Mary to Richmond to go to college – she couldn’t stand being apart from her! During their 12 years together in Richmond, Mary & Beth deepened a close bond that now transcends their 100-mile separation. Throughout those formative years the sisters had loads of fun – late night dinners, late morning breakfasts, road-trips galore and many midnight phone calls. These days find Mary raising her sons – four-year-old Suttree and toddler Frank – with husband David. The artist of the family, Mary spends her spare time transforming their beautiful stucco 1940’s house into a unique, eclectic, and wonderful home. A true animal lover (and rescuer), Mary and her family have one dog and four cats.

Jane Taft

Jane and Beth had way too much fun together in high school! They bucked the age-old adage that sisters are supposed to hate each other as teenagers – and actually enjoyed hanging out together. That hasn’t changed one bit! Although a three-hour drive separates them, Jane is still one of Beth’s favorite people to spend time with. Their time together these days is a little louder than those of years past, as Jane’s three children – daughters Meghann & Deirdre and son Calum – add some excitement and noise to the mix! While raising three kids with husband Michael keeps her plenty busy, Jane finds time to read, swim, and volunteer in her community.

Meg Taft Saenz

Meg and Beth share something amazing – their daughters were born on the same day – 3 hours apart! Not only did this fact make their mother a “Double-Whammy Grammy” (the girls were the first two grandchildren!), it forged an exceptionally close bond between the two sisters. For the past eleven years they have shared parenting tips, joys, concerns, and milestones while watching the two cousins grow and become special friends. Meg and her family – son Nate and daughters Hannah, Hazel & Lily - live in Havre de Grace, MD. In her “spare” time, Meg enjoys gardening and cooking (she’s a wonderful chef!).

Tracee Taft

Wed to Beth’s brother, Daniel, since 1992, Tracee has become exactly what Beth didn’t really need – another sister! Since that snowy night in January 1992, Tracee has brought sunshine, love and fun into the Taft family. Tracee has created a cozy home for her family – Daniel, daughters Caitlin & Abby, and son Conner – in rural Loudoun County, 40 miles outside of Washington DC. It is to that house, and to Tracee and the gang, that Beth, Tony & Eliza run for their “family fix” and to escape the fast-paced city life. There is always a warm welcome, good meal and fun times to be had at the Casa de Taft. Tracee is a very creative and innovative person – a fact that is evident in the beautiful scrapbooks she has created. Tracee enjoys volunteering at her daughters’ school, photography, and reading.

Of great importance during this special time is Beth’s daughter, Eliza. Eliza turned eleven in July and is quite the “pre-teen”. A fifth grader, Eliza enjoys Girl Scouts, swimming, biking and playing the viola. Her favorite subjects are Math & Science. Eliza and Tony share a mutual interest in music and movies - a fact which delights Tony, who takes his role as pop-culture guru very seriously. A bright & loving child with a great sense of humor, Eliza brings joy and happiness to those who know her. Eliza lives in McLean, VA with Beth, Tony, and her wild kitten, Josie.

Hannah Saenz
Relationship - Niece of the Bride

As the oldest of four, Hannah is used to sharing the limelight! Although she is sharing the role of flower girl with her cousin twin, Eliza, Hannah shines brightly in her own right! Hannah’s interests include art, reading and music (she has a beautiful singing voice and sings in her school chorus). Hannah recently moved from Norfolk to Havre de Grace, MD with her family - an occasion which caused much joy in the Taft/DiPasquale household as they are now only an hour away! While the cousin twins may not look much alike, they share many similarities beyond their birthdays, and it is only fitting that they share the role of flower girl on this special day.

Jerry Wright

First introduced as undergraduates at Georgetown University, Jerry & Tony have known each other for almost a decade, including almost five years as roommates. Despite some interests – including Jerry’s love of NASCAR and country music! – that threaten to tear them apart, they have remained friends for years. The boys have joined each other on trips to places like Las Vegas, New Orleans, and Tampa Bay, all the while managing not to kill each other! Now a Boston resident, Jerry spends his free time hanging out with his girlfriend Barbara, watching just about anything MTV dares to program, and hitting the golf course – regardless of weather.

Born a mere thirteen months after Tony, Mike was afforded the rare privilege of being immortalized in a great many photos as Tony’s twin brother. Whatever outfit one child wore, the other was sure to follow! Growing up, the two brothers played on the same baseball and basketball teams, competing together and against each other until their late teens. Mike, a graduate of Wake Forest University, currently resides in Columbus, OH with his girlfriend Dawn. When not planning to set the world on fire, Mike passes his time playing golf and drinking beer.

Jim DiPasquale

Tony & Jim, a 2001 graduate of Bucknell University, have been brothers for life, but have grown closer together since Jim’s recent relocation to Northern Virginia. Working as an accountant in Fairfax County, Jim made his local sporting debut last year as a ringer on the American Red Cross softball team. When not working on his swing, Jim enjoys the spoils of Direct TV and plans his next outdoor adventure. The amateur snowboarder, despite his enjoyment of the snow, also has an interesting love for hot, sweltering weather.

Steve, the last DiPasquale brother in college, is living the high life as a University of Pittsburgh student, dreading his entrance into the work force next year.
