It may feel like we’re still settling into our new home, but the rest of the world is moving on, whether we’re ready or not! After many years spent inside the Beltway, our family decided to venture westward, culminating in our July 2004 move to Gainesville, VA. Once a mere way station at the intersection of Interstate 66 and Route 26, Gainesville is part of the ever-growing DC metropolitan area. With additional housing developments and new retail options on the way, it’s only a matter of time before all the comforts of the District are available in our own backyard.
On October 25, 2003 at 5 PM, Beth Taft and Tony DiPasquale were finally married. The ceremony took place at Dahlgren Chapel, on the campus of Georgetown University. The reception followed at the Hyatt Arlington, just across the Key Bridge in Rosslyn, VA. We would like to thank everyone who helped to make this day so special for us! Feel free to stop in for a peek at our new family.
Nearly five years ago, we both trotted through the front doors of the American Red Cross, starting down the path that would lead us to each other. Almost three years ago, we decided to “take the plunge,” turning our friendship into something much, much more. Since that time, we’ve laughed and loved, so much so that on August 22, 2002, on the steps of Dahlgren Chapel, Tony proposed to Beth. Now we look forward to a life of bouncing munchkins, cable television, and shopping trips to Crate & Barrel!
